Soul-Triage Adventure Game UN:Me Delayed to 2027

Shueisha Games and historia have announced that their soul-triage adventure game UN:Me has been delayed from 2026 to 2027 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The delay is to deliver a higher-quality experience. A new trailer was also released.

UN:Me places four souls inside a single body, with each initially unable to remember their identity. All four believe that the body belongs to them. Players must determine which claim is true while dealing with the traumas connected to each soul.

Exploration revolves around collecting Memory Fragments scattered throughout an unstable environment. These fragments raise additional questions during conversations with the souls. Learning about their identities and histories eventually leads to a decision over which soul should remain and which souls should be erased.

Players will not always control which soul is active. Individual souls can unexpectedly take control of the girl’s body, changing her available abilities and the dangers encountered during exploration. Their individual traumas can also affect which locations are accessible, requiring players to adjust as control shifts between them.

Soul I speaks openly and behaves like a girl her claimed age. She is highly emotional and experiences sudden mood swings. Soul III is more thoughtful and deliberate, speaking politely but maintaining distance. She rarely makes eye contact and generally behaves aloofly.

One revealed location is a municipal hospital that grows increasingly abnormal as players move deeper inside. Its inhabitants include nurses displaying unnatural smiles and patients with flowers in place of their heads.
