Scavenge the World Like Raccoons in Trash Day, a Physics-Based Co-Op Adventure

Raccoons are saving the day in this physics-based co-op adventure. Titled Trash Day, the game is developed by Off By One Games, an indie studio founded by developers who worked on Rocket League. The team just announced the release date for their upcoming game, which is October 13th, 2026.

Yes, October 13 is officially Trash Day

You have been given plenty of warning. Gather the raccoons accordingly. You and your raccoon squad go around scavenging trash, stuffing your haul into a wagon, and getting back home. You can play alone or team up online with up to five friends.

So, Trash Day is coming to PC via Steam. Off By One dropped a new release date trailer called One Wagon. A Raccoon Crew. Zero Good Decisions. One person steers, someone else pushes, another person is absolutely convinced they can solve the obstacle with a plank, and then suddenly the entire wagon is upside down. Anyway, you can watch the trailer below before jumping into the game.

You can knock over trash cans, search dumpsters, and wander through the wilderness looking for useful items and valuable trash. Then you have to load everything up and work together to get your stolen shopping cart or wagon home.

Along the way, there are obstacles to get over, under, and through. And even animals and humans can get in the way and try to take your stuff. You can distract them while the rest of the squad keeps the haul moving.

There are plenty of activities to do in Trash Day. You can climb, scurry, and scamper around the world, play pattycake with a friend, and eat some junk. If you want to try it out, there’s a free demo available on Steam. Or you can just wishlist the game until it launches.
